Te Arawa Whanau Ora Collective which includes 9 Maori health providers in the Te Arawa rohe needed a communications space that was robust, focused and most importantly whanau-friendly. Our focus for this site was on creating a graphic rich easy to navigate space for whanau.

The website has two purposes, to act as a space for whānau resources and to act as a tool which navigators working with whānau can use to assist them. TangataWhenau.com also developed an Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP) in collaboration with the 9 Māori health which has been accepted and approved by both Te Puni Kokiri and the Ministry of Health.
